If you've never used a mobile detailing service before, you probably have some questions. Where do you park? Do you need to be home? What exactly do they do? How long will it take? This guide walks you through the entire process — from booking to the moment we drive away.
Booking
When you book with BeeZee, you choose your service (interior, exterior, or full detail), your vehicle size, and your appointment time. We'll confirm your booking and follow up with a reminder the day before.
We serve all of Sarasota and Manatee County — your home, your office, your apartment complex, or anywhere else your car is parked.
Before We Arrive: What You Need to Do
Very little, actually. Here's what helps:
Clear personal items from the interior. We'll clean around them if needed, but removing loose items from the seats, floor, and center console means we can clean more thoroughly.
Make sure we have parking access. We'll need to park our vehicle close to yours — within 50 feet ideally — to run equipment. Let us know if you have a gated community or parking structure.
For some services: We may need access to a nearby electrical outlet and/or water source. We'll confirm this when you book. Many clients don't need to provide anything at all — we're fully self-contained for most appointments.
You don't need to be present. Many of our customers hand us the keys and go to work, the gym, or run errands. As long as we have access to the vehicle, you can go about your day.
When We Arrive
We arrive in our branded van, fully equipped with professional-grade products and equipment. We'll do a quick walkthrough of the vehicle — noting any specific areas of concern, existing damage we should be aware of, and any preferences you have.
This takes about 5 minutes. Then we get to work.
During the Detail
Interior Detail (1–2 Hours)
1. Full vacuum — every surface, every crevice, trunk included
2. Compressed air blowout — clearing dust from vents, gaps, and trim cracks
3. Steam cleaning — sanitizing carpets, mats, fabric seats, and hard surfaces
4. Surface treatment — plastics, vinyl, and leather cleaned and conditioned
5. Mat washing and drying
6. Interior glass cleaning — streak-free from inside
7. Final inspection and touch-up
Exterior Detail (45min–1 Hour)
1. Wheels, rims, tires, and wheel wells cleaned first (always do the dirtiest part first)
2. Pre-wash foam applied to the full vehicle
3. Two-bucket hand wash — mitt never touches paint without rinsing
4. Door jambs wiped and dried
5. Exterior glass cleaned
6. Tire dressing applied
7. Final inspection
Full Detail (2–3 Hours)
The complete combination of both — interior first, then exterior.
After We Finish
We do a final walkthrough with you (if you're present). We point out areas we treated, any pre-existing damage we documented, and any recommendations for your specific vehicle.
Your car will smell fresh, look clean, and — if we applied any protection — be ready to handle Florida's environment for weeks to come.
Common reactions from first-time customers: "It looks brand new." "I forgot the carpet was that color." "How did you get that stain out?"
We take pride in delivering results that genuinely impress.
After Your Detail: Maintaining the Results
- Avoid washing for 24 hours after wax or sealant application
- Use a quick detailer spray for light dust between appointments
- Rinse bird droppings and tree sap off as soon as possible — they etch in fast in Florida heat
- Consider a windshield sunshade to protect your freshly conditioned interior
